About
Currently trying to get all my travel stuff and writing in one place so bear with me if it’s all a bit higgledy piggledy, I’m working on it! Do feel free to comment on posts or email me: abell500@btinternet.com. If you have a business card of mine ignore the email address on there (the info@ one) as frankly, it’s been nothing but trouble.
After 10 years of doing some fairly weird and wonderful stuff in the name of journalism, I’m now a freelancer whose thirst for adventure tends to drag me all over the place. I’ve written for the likes of the Daily Star, Essentially America, Living Spain, The Birmingham Post and other Trinity Mirror publications, and have edited Destination France as well as the less salubrious Traditional Woodworking magazines. More recently I was Copy Editor for local business publication Crain’s Manchester Business. I also write some motoring articles for a group of websites and the news for youth development charity Raleigh, as well as doing some property copy writing. I’m very versatile you see. I’m always on the lookout for more challenges so do get in touch should you need a sub/proofreader/writer/editor/chat.
